So how does Link4Growth rebuild community?
Link4Growth provides four main services
- Community engagement, local meetups to get people talking (Link4Growth events)
- Holistic local business support and encouraging products / service exchange (Link4Business)
- Skills sharing and enquiry learning (Link4Skills)
- A community TV network to share and replicate all the good work that is going on (L4G.TV)
How are these services delivered?
Link4Growth does not directly deliver these services, instead a devolved approach is used. The country has been mapped out into 85 independent areas (Districts). These are like counties but not exactly being more based on the population density, some being larger in size than others.
Being devolved, Link4Growth expands into new areas as and when people become active with the 4 services.
Although autonomous there is a set of principles which run through the entire Link4Growth network. Acceptance of these principles is mandatory. Link4Growth provides a wealth of materials, support and training.
Essentially, Link4Growth runs on ‘people power‘. Everyday people, happy to contribute in some way whether in facilitator roles, support or leadership. We hope that you will find something on this website that interests you to find out more.
